What whirlwind of events these past two weeks have been? We didn't even have a chance to tell you about the two weddings, and being stuck in the Caribbean due to hurricane Irene. And that's mostly because Irene met us again back in NYC, as did a 2.3 tremor from a 5.8 earthquake in Virginia. While we all okay.....these events caused a lot of attention for the release of communication other places.......

So yes, we completed two PERFECT wedding projects the week of 8/15, one destination, and one local. We are still deciding which pictures to post in the album--and considering a change to our own website....so just bare with us on that. And of course, we have another wedding on the horizon, thanks to the lovely Ernest and Monique. There will be details soon.

And while it seems we have been wedding crazy lately, we are assisting with a healthfair in Bedford Stuyvesant on Saturday 9/10/2011, and participating in an inaugural health project on October 22; Resilience Day. The Resilience Day project focuses on personal wholistic health, recharging both the mind, body, and soul. We invite you all to purchase tickets to experience this wonderful event. Proceeds will go to benefit Breast Cancer survivors. Details and full website to follow soon. Use twitter to plug in immediately @resilienceday

And lastly, while we are on the twitter subject. @Perfect10Events is holding a $25 gift card contest to all new followers and RT's. The drawing will be September 1 at 5:00pm.

Talk to you all soon!

Summer is On!!!

Hey Friends:

This summer is absolutely flying by! We are working hard on Public Relations and Marketing plans, and TP-10's wedding of the year is almost here, our Bride is just about ready, and we are finishing up the programs, and gift bags for all those joining us at our tropical destination of ST. MAARTEN!!!!

Last Saturday, along with the bridesmaids we hosted a beautiful luau themed Bridal Shower. Our Bride was not only surprised, but very very happy. We played games, served a host of international appetizers including gourmet sushi, which is our Bride's favorite, and wonderful drinks as well.

Our guests departed with goody-bags full of island and spa paraphernalia, which is another of the Bride's favorites. And one of the inclusions we will share with you....our lovely readers! 50% off coupons for an In-home Spa service, which TP-10 coordinated with the Kemetic Day Spa. 1.520.DAY-SPAS and mention code: WEDDING for your discount as well.

Over the next few weeks our Vice Presidents will be on vacation, and by the end of August returning to four major events, and working on a very special and PERFECT event one of our Principal Planners has been putting a lot of love and dedication to.

See you Soon!!!!!

Whew, hope everybody is keeping cool in the heat!

We're doing our best over here at TP10.

One of our projects this summer is a destination wedding at the Royal Sonesta Maho beach resort in Sint Maarten. The planning is moving forward without a hitch. I can't wait to show pictures!!!! We just finalized the centerpieces with the Bride and Groom and are making the final orders this weekend. Still not sure on the tulle and organza types for the other decorations, but it's sure to be fabulous...and PERFECT! The bridesmaids and groomsmen have their outfits, mother of the bride is well on her way to completion and the flowers have already been ordered. August 19th will be a PERFECT day they are sure to always remember.

Keep Cool folks!

Time to start Bloging

We are three months shy of entering our third year of business, and The Perfect 10 is still around, alive and kicking.

Year one was absolutely amazing! We had contract after contract, sometimes a few at a time, and we managed to make it all happen. First year out we contracted with the Tribune Society as the annual coordinator and host of their Toy Drive, and a consultant for other projects throughout the year. We jumped on the political scene making appearances at NBC, and forming relationships with local politicians. We even coordinated a wedding in Philadelphia!

Year two actually brought us a very cool event. We provided OS coordination for a wedding on 10-10-10. It was a Perfect 10! But for the most part, we took a turn in another direction; while we continued to provide Development, Marketing, and PR consultation, we were also very hard at work on private events, fundraisers, and sub contracting for other organizations. Undoubtedly making it a little harder to showcase our PERFECT work. So here we are now deciding we are at a time to start blogging. So check back periodically, see what we are up to....and don't forget to call us if you need us.

And now, just about at closing time of this year, TP-10 has started taking on more business meetings and conferences. In March, we successfully hosted and provided site coordination for FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT 101: Best Practices for your Organization's Finances. This seminar featured presentations by Philip Perlah, the Director of Finance for the African Medical & Research Foundation, and Jose Mercado, the Associate Commissioner of Finance of NYC's Administration for Children's Services (ACS.)

We were also on site for Deepak & CMBM's Day of Services. Featured at this event were Dr. James Gordon, actor James Hector of HBO's hit series The Wire, and author Terrie Williams. Bernadette from our team was able to capture some pictures during this conversation, and kindly posted them in the gallery. She loves candid photos.

Both events were educational, and introduced the business to business side of Perfect 10. We continue to add services to our menu, because of our limitless approach which we transfer to you, the client, and your needs. When we started we never imagined websites....but today that's one of our feature services. But no matter what we do we embody the idea of a full service agency with a Boutique feel......making each and every client feel like they are the only one.

I'll be back in a few days with some more updates about the next project.
